I have always been attracted to iron craftsmen, those brave blacksmiths who turn a rough piece of metal into a weapon, tool or sculpture, it seems to me a wonderful process, a really hard job in quite extreme conditions that I respect very much. It is the typical thing that I would love to know how to do…(in another life perhaps). Long ago I had an idea to make a robot that is forging itself, (I like the idea that each of us can forge, change its form and function, improve our skills, to be better and above all happier), and I’m a fan of the TV show «Forged on Fire», so with this tribute, I kill two birds with one shot.
